H2M hires Moran as Suffern office director

Suffern, NY H2M architects + engineers has hired James “Jim” Moran, P.E., as Suffern office director.

Moran will lead the Suffern team’s growth in revenue and expansion of services for all of H2M’s markets.

Moran is a civil engineer with more than 30 years of experience in municipal management. His experience includes leading major projects for New Rochelle, Yonkers, New York City Department of Environmental Protection (NYCDEP), and Verizon.

Prior to joining H2M, Jim served as the commissioner of the City of New Rochelle Department of Public Works (DPW). In this role, he administrated all public works functions and operations, including engineering, street maintenance, storm and sanitary sewer systems, public buildings, sanitation collection, city vehicle fleet maintenance, traffic services, and right-of-way permitting.

“Jim brings strong experience and leadership to H2M,” said H2M’s president and CEO, Richard Humann, P.E. “We are really excited that he has joined our team and we look forward to the growth he will bring to the Suffern Office.”

Jim is a graduate of Manhattan College with a B.E. in civil engineering and holds an M.B.A. in management from St. Thomas Aquinas College. He is a licensed professional engineer in New York.
