What recent honor, achievement or recognition has meant the most to you and why?
Approximately three months ago, I was elevated to partner at my firm. This achievement confirmed that I was regarded in my firm and an expert in my field.
Who or what has been the strongest influence on your career and why?
David R. Brody has been the strongest influence on my career. Mr. Brody is a senior partner at Borah, Goldstein, Altschuler, Nahins & Goidel, P.C. (the "Firm"). He has been my supervising attorney since I started working for the Firm. Mr. Brody has taught me how to represent clients with intellect, class and sophistication. He has helped me grow into the lawyer I am today.
What is the first thing you do when you arrive in the office in the morning?
- I take a few minutes at my desk to focus on what I need to do for the day.
What time management strategies do you find to be the most effective for you?
I list the tasks I need to complete during the day. In addition, I set time deadlines to accomplish each task.
What is the best advice you have received and who was it from?
The best advice I ever received was from my mother. She told me to be independent. Do not depend on anyone for your survival.

I would have drinks with Sonia Sotomayor, Sandra Day O'Connor and Ruth Bader Ginsburg at a cocktail bar.

What did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be a doctor because my mother was chronically ill throughout my childhood. However, I was not passionate about science.
