Gregor joins Capital Square Realty Advisors
According to Capital Square Realty Advisors LLC, Jeffrey Gregor has joined the company as general counsel and executive vice president. "Jeff is a leading attorney specializing in the representation of real estate sponsors, with extensive experience structuring private placement real estate investments for high net worth investors," said Louis Rogers, founder and chief executive officer.
"We have worked together for over a decade, first at the Hirschler Fleischer law firm in Richmond, VA, then at Triple Net Properties, LLC in Santa Ana, CA, which subsequently merged with Grubb & Ellis Company. He has a great depth of knowledge about real estate investment programs, including the Delaware Statutory Trust, or DST, programs sponsored by Capital Square Realty Advisors for Section 1031 exchange investors. I am thrilled to be reunited with a colleague and a friend as Capital Square continues to grow a talented team of real estate professionals."
Prior to joining Capital Square Realty Advisors, Gregor served as executive vice president and general counsel of Daymark Realty Advisors, then a wholly-owned subsidiary of Grubb & Ellis Company, which managed a nationwide portfolio of approximately 33 million s/f of real estate on behalf of more than 5,200 individual investors.
He previously served as Grubb & Ellis' senior corporate and securities counsel from the 2007 merger with Triple Net Properties, LLC until the founding of Daymark in 2010. During his tenure with Daymark and Grubb & Ellis, Gregor was responsible for all legal matters related to the company's $5.7 billion portfolio of private real estate assets, including the structuring, drafting and implementation of all private placement offerings and fund investments.
Previously, Gregor was a senior associate and member of the real estate securities practice group at Hirschler Fleischer, a nationally-recognized law firm based in Richmond, VA. While with Hirschler Fleischer, he represented investment program sponsors, borrowers, sellers and purchasers in various business, real estate and securities transactions, with an emphasis on Section 1031 exchange programs structured as DST or Tenants in Common programs.
Gregor earned his juris doctorate from the University of Richmond School of Law and his bachelor's degree from St. Mary's College of Maryland. He is a member of the Virginia State Bar.
