Gotch of Massey Knakal secures retail lease at 176 Bleecker Street

Massey Knakal Retail Leasing Services has secured a new retail lease for 176 Bleecker St., located between MacDougal and Sullivan Sts. in the Greenwich Village neighborhood. The space contains 900 s/f on the ground floor with 11 ft. high ceilings. It benefits from an additional 600 s/f of basement space and 900 s/f of garden space. It features 16 ft. of frontage in a location with tremendous foot traffic, driven by a combination of local residents, tourists, and NYU students. Neighboring tenants include NYU, American Apparel, Bank of America, Capital One Bank, Chase Bank, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, CVS, and Duane Reade. "After a comprehensive marketing and negotiation period, we believe that the rent which we secured for this space is a record for this part of Bleecker St.; not to mention from 100 Montaditos, an internationally recognized tenant that has over 300 locations around the globe," said Brendan Gotch, director of retail leasing at Massey Knakal, who exclusively represented the landlord.
