GirlGang announces the launch of a value-driven membership program & virtual community for its 2k+ members

New York, NY GirlGang, a national, women-led and women-focused community of real estate professionals, hosted a launch party to announce the next chapter of the organization. GirlGang, which was founded in 2016 by Michelle Kleger, an senior vice president of business development at Kensington Vanguard and Gabrielle Everett, a managing director at Maybern, launched a new membership program designed to support their growing community both professionally and personally.

The newly announced, comprehensive membership program offers GirlGang members new ways to connect and engage with women at all stages of their careers. At the center of the program’s rollout is the launch of a membership portal and virtual community, providing current and aspiring women professionals across the U.S. a platform on which to build meaningful connections and participate in organized discussion forums.

“Over the past ten years, we’ve built an incredible network of women and we’re thrilled to be able to take the organization to the next level,” Kleger said. “Our members are at the center of everything that GirlGang does, and it’s important that we continue to find new value and ways that they can connect and advance their careers which is exactly what the membership program and portal will deliver.”

Members will benefit from direct access to GirlGang’s expansive community of women in real estate, a comprehensive membership directory, resources for professional and personal growth and career advancement, first notice of industry job opportunities, subscriptions to specialized, curated newsletters, discussion boards, market-focused conversation forums, and annual panel and networking events.

“Our members represent a diverse group of women in the industry,” Everett said. “We have a national membership with women at every stage of their career, and in every vertical of real estate. We’ve built an impactful membership program and coinciding virtual community to reflect the growing and unique needs of our diverse membership. Members will have more ways to connect and build their networks than ever before.”

The launch event took place at global law firm Cadwalader’s new event space at 200 Liberty St. Kleger and Everett stated that the decision to host the milestone event at the firm underscored GirlGang’s focus on elevating and empowering women in real estate. Cadwalader partner Bonnie Neuman took the microphone to share that more than half of the partners at the firm are women, an impressive achievement given that both the real estate industry and legal field are known to be male-dominated.

There was a time when an offering memorandum (OM) was pretty bare bones, some photos, a few bullet points on income, and a rent roll thrown in at the back. That used to get the job done. Not anymore. In 2025, buyers are sharper, faster, and more selective. They’re looking
