Gilco Realty welcomes Lawson to retail leasing division

Bronx, NY According to Gilco Realty, Michele Lawson has joined its team.

Lawson will work to expand Gilco’s retail leasing. She spent over 30 years in customer-oriented positions before transferring her skills to residential real estate brokerage and eventually to commercial real estate. Her background is diverse and has been relevant to her success as an agent. Lawson worked for the city of New York for over 15 years as a clerk and analyst. She also has experience working as a tax preparer, teacher/facilitator and mobile notary public.

Lawson holds a BS in Banking and Finance with a minor in Math/Accounting from Bowie State University, as well as an MPA in Human Resource Management from John Jay College of Criminal Justice.

She also has training in commercial real estate leasing and sales, property management and leasing, residential real estate sales and real estate appraisal.
