New York, NY George Comfort & Sons, Inc., and its partners Jamestown and Loeb Partners Realty, completed a new 15,000 s/f lease agreement with
Spectorgroup at 200 Madison Ave. Following this signing, the 750,000 s/f Midtown tower is now 96 percent leased.
Spectorgroup is a design firm with a portfolio spanning all property sectors. Spectorgroup will occupy a portion of the 19th floor at 200 Madison following a relocation from their current headquarters at 183 Madison Ave. in the third quarter of 2022.
“We’re pleased to provide Spectorgroup with the flexibility and high-quality design they were seeking for their new Manhattan headquarters at 200 Madison, while allowing them to remain in the same convenient and transit-rich neighborhood,” said George Comfort & Sons president and CEO Peter Duncan. “As an innovative design firm, this space’s efficient floorplates, abundance of natural light, high ceilings and direct elevator access, complemented by the building’s beautiful Neoclassical lobby and future renovations, were exactly what our new client was looking for. We’re happy to add them to our valued tenant roster.”
“We’ve experienced firmwide growth over the past few years, including expanding our project markets and practice regions, as well as adding talented design professionals to our teams,” stated Scott Spector, principal, Spectorgroup. “Thanks to George Comfort & Sons and our new space at 200 Madison Ave., we have the opportunity to elevate the way we practice, and how we collaborate and service our clients.”
“We’re excited with the opportunity to reinvent our own workplace strategy,” said Lauren Gardner, director, creative and strategy, Spectorgroup. “We pride ourselves on our tailored approach, and with that in mind, we’re designing our new space to reset the future vision of the firm and better reflect our core values: People, Place and Purpose.”
200 Madison Ave. is a 26-story, class-A office building strategically located at Manhattan's Midtown South office market and within a ten minute walk of both Grand Central Terminal and Penn Station, offering easy access to a variety of commuter rail, subway and bus lines.

In addition, the tower now benefits from increased cleaning personnel, the installation of touchless fixtures equipped in bathrooms on multi-tenanted floors and facial recognition at select turnstiles for contactless entry.
