GDC Properties' 220 Water Street in DUMBO receives 2012 NAHB BALA Awards

220 Water St., the loft-style adaptive-reuse residential rental building in the DUMBO neighborhood, continues to accumulate accolades, most recently for its craftsmanship. Previous industry honors, awarded for the development's exceptional design and resident offerings, particularly in the adaptive-reuse and multifamily categories, include: Brooklyn Chamber Project of the Year for Residential Multifamily; an Urban Land Institute Global Award for Excellence; Multifamily Executive Magazine Project of the Year for both Low-Rise and Adaptive Reuse properties; Multihousing News Magazine Best Renovation and Best New Development; a Connecticut Chapter AIA Design Award; and NAHB Pillar Awards for Best Rental Apartment Community, Best Adaptive Reuse, and Best Clubhouse at a Multifamily Community.
