Babylon, NY Hundreds of women business owners attended the Suffolk County Women’s Business Enterprise Coalition (SCWBEC) Annual Luncheon to showcase their businesses.

Afterwards there was a luncheon with keynote speaker, Maria Fumei-South, president & owner, 212 New York a textile company on Long Island.

A commercial real estate broker, Marie Zere, president & CEO, Zere Real Estate Services is the original founder of SCWBEC in the 1980s.

When Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) were first part of commercial real estate risk management, it was the lenders driving this requirement. When a borrower wanted a loan on a property, banks would utilize a list of “Approved Consultants” to order the report on both refinances and purchases.
