FORM50 opens at SL Green’s 135 East 46th St.

Manhattan, NY FORM50, the celebrity coveted Pilates brand is opening its fourth location this spring, a flagship 5,000 s/f studio in Midtown.

FORM50 will be located at SL Green’s 135 East 46th St., ground level a space previously occupied by SoulCycle. George Skallarinis from Kassin Sabbagh Realty represented FORM50 for the 10 year lease deal. The flagship studio will feature 15 ‘FormFormer’machines, a private training room for 1:1 sessions, a recovery room with 2 infrared saunas and a Body Roller machine as well as fully stocked locker rooms with showers.

FORM50, founded by Monica Marder in 2018 is Pilates like you’ve never seen. This low-impact, high intensity, time under tension, full muscle failure workout centers around interval training – boosting heart rate and burning fat. Whereas traditional Pilates workouts are centered on slow movements - FORM50 combines slow AND fast explosive movements on the ‘FormFormer’ a spring based reformer, designed for performance training. FORM50’s 50-minute sessions will have your body feeling strong & sculpted. The class moves to the beat of DJ curated music with an ultra-sleek, boutique vibe that makes you feel like you are at the hottest party in town. Fans include: Joe Jonas, Sophie Turner, Abner Logan (NFL, Buffalo Bills), Matt Dickerson (NFL, Kansas City Chiefs), Claudia Sampedro and more.

“After seeing such demand over the past 6 years in our Astoria, Williamsburg and Miami locations, there was no question it was time open a location in the heart of Manhattan, our clients were asking for it” said Founder/CEO, Monica Marder. “We choose this location due to the amazing neighborhood and close proximity to Grand Central Station. We’re to bring this workout to Manhattan, whether someone has tried every workout out there or never set foot on a reformer, this is the class for them.”
