Fisher joins Ripco Real Estate as direcor in new Brooklyn office

Brooklyn, NY According to Ripco Real Estate, Eric Fisher has joined the firm’s newly opened area office as director.

Fisher will look to specialize in neighborhoods such as Upper Manhattan, Long Island City and the Bronx along with continuing to represent his growing portfolio of local tenants throughout Manhattan and the five boroughs. Previously, Fisher spent three years at Walker Malloy where he focused on Manhattan, Harlem, Queens and Brooklyn. He has worked with several retailers, including White Gold, Juliana’s, Casa Mono, Rock & Reilly, Mu Ramen, American Whiskey and a handful other notable New York City based food and beverage operators. Most recently, Eric represented Rockrose at their Jackson Avenue Listings surrounding The Hayden, the firm’s residential development in Long Island City.

“Eric is a great example of the highly skilled brokers we are recruiting to join the Ripco team here in Brooklyn and our offices across the Tri-State region,” Mark Kaplan, COO and principal at Ripco. “Our outer-borough operations continue to thrive, and we are confident that Eric’s expertise and strong ties within the restaurant community, in addition to other retail sectors, will further enhance our position in the Queens and Brooklyn marketplace.”

Fisher is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University Culinary Program. Before entering brokerage, Fisher played a significant role in the day-to-day operations at some of NYCs most recognizable restaurants in capacities that range from Kitchen management to front of house management, among them: Artisanal, Le Cirque, Michael’s, Otto Enoteca and The Mermaid Oyster Bar to name only a few.

“I chose to enter real estate brokerage four years ago and have thoroughly enjoyed immersing myself into this community. Throughout the course of my career, I have followed Ripco and have always been intrigued and impressed with the deals completed by the firm and am eager and excited to join such a successful team as they begin a new chapter with the opening of their Brooklyn office. I am looking to build on my previous successes and grow into a stronger and more diversely talented broker in this next chapter of my career, so it was an obvious decision to join the Ripco team in Brooklyn when the opportunity presented itself,” said Fisher. “I very much look forward to collaborating with my new colleagues and leveraging my existing contacts and previous industry knowledge to continue to execute significant deals for the firm.”
