Farrell joins Cohen Brothers as vice president, leasing

Real estate veteran John Farrell has joined Cohen Brothers Realty Corp. as vice president, leasing. He brings 25 years of experience and knowledge in commercial and retail real estate leasing and development from a variety of positions with Helmsley Spear, Bohn-Fiore, and, most recently, from Oldfield Realty Group. At Cohen Brothers, he will be involved in closing office and retail leasing transactions throughout the company's multi-million s/f class A Manhattan commercial real estate portfolio. A member of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Farrell earned a bachelor of arts degree from Penn State University. "We're delighted that John has agreed to join our in-house leasing team and we're confident he will be an important contributor," said Cohen Brothers president and CEO Charles Cohen. Charles Cohen heads a multi-faceted real estate development company whose signature New York properties include 623 Fifth Ave., 750 Lexington Ave., 135 East 57th St., 622 Third Ave., 805 Third Ave., 3 Park Ave., 475 Park Ave. South and 3 East 54th St.
