Evercore expands by 95,000 s/f at Fisher Brothers’ Park Ave. Plaza

Manhattan, NY Fisher Brothers said that Evercore has expanded its presence by 95,000 s/f across floors 39 through 41 at Park Ave. Plaza. Growing its existing footprint by nearly 25%, Evercore will now occupy over half a million s/f. The midtown tower remains 100% leased.

Marc Packman, Charles Laginestra, Clark Briffel and Josh Fisher at Fisher Brothers led negotiations for Fisher Brothers. Alan Desino from Colliers represented Evercore.

“It is a pleasure to strategically support Evercore’s growth and continue our longstanding relationship,” said Ken Fisher, partner at Fisher Brothers. “Park Avenue Plaza remains a premier destination for top-flight financial services firms in New York attracted to the premium amenities and unparalleled modern design we offer. Park Ave. Plaza has established itself as a workplace where leading firms and their employees can thrive.”

Park Ave. Plaza is one of the most cutting-edge office buildings in the Fisher Brothers portfolio. The building emphasizes sustainability and green technology alongside premium amenities and security, a glass-walled atrium lobby, waterfall-side café, and European-style luxury retail arcades. Guided by Fisher Brothers’ long-term investment strategy toward sustainable energy, the 45-story tower has earned LEED Platinum certification, WELL Health-Safety Rating certification from the International WELL Building Institute and ongoing ENERGY STAR certification.

This transaction continues the trend of leasing activity across the Fisher Brothers portfolio. The firm reported, alongside institutional investors advised by J.P. Morgan Global Alternatives, that 1345 Avenue of the Americas is fully repositioned and over 90% leased after securing nearly one million s/f of leases in 2023. In December, Fisher Brothers celebrated the largest commercial lease in the U.S. in 2023 with international law firm Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP signing 765,000 s/f at 1345 Avenue of the Americas.

The death of the generic offering memorandum: What buyers expect in 2025 - by Kimberly Zar Bloorian

There was a time when an offering memorandum (OM) was pretty bare bones, some photos, a few bullet points on income, and a rent roll thrown in at the back. That used to get the job done. Not anymore. In 2025, buyers are sharper, faster, and more selective. They’re looking
