Erardi joins Richter + Ratner (R+R) as a vice president

Nancy Erardi has joined Richter + Ratner (R+R) as vice president. In her new role, working alongside the president and CEO, Erardi will be responsible for continuing to strengthen R+R's position as a construction management firm by overseeing the company's operations. Established in 1912 and celebrating its centennial this year, R+R has a long heritage of building complex institutional, corporate, boutique, hospitality, retail, and residential projects. Their experience includes new construction, phased renovations, restorations and technically complex construction. Erardi's positive attitude, professionalism and boundless energy, coupled with her extensive industry experience, is a natural fit for the company whose corporate standards have situated them on a primarily negotiated basis for securing contracts. Some of these standards include; charging no fee on change orders, not agreeing to shared contingency and/or GMP savings - all savings must go back to the project owners, taking on projects only if they align with what their resources can handle, the strict adherence to preserving design intent, a strict adherence to a culture of a "can do" and "failure is not an option", not working in an atmosphere that undermines the team approach. The internal culture enforces the importance of each employees life; everyone has the right to go home each day and see their families from a safety standpoint and a working hour perspective. Erardi said, "Joining R+R has been the best decision. The work done by this company is outstanding, and my corporate standards and business beliefs directly align with those of R+R". Ms. Erardi fits right in as an immediate asset, as each member of R+R is committed to building relationships based on honesty, integrity and performance critical to both project success and in support of the company's overall reputation. She has worked in all sectors of the industry from the client and owner side as well as every aspect of general contracting and construction management, including operations, estimating, purchasing, finance, marketing, and business development. She has an established reputation as a solid professional, and brings with her over 18 years of experience. Her intense passion for her work shines through in a results oriented management style of complete honesty, approachability, dedication, and an understanding of urgency that serves both clients and colleagues. Ms. Erardi is a member of the Ambassador Council for Non Traditional Employment for Women and a committee member for the National Italian American Foundation. She is proud to participate in many industry associations such as National Association of Women in Construction, The Association of Real Estate Women, U.S. Green Building Council, Women in Development, Corenet Global, and International Facilities Management Association R+R most recent accomplishments include The Jose Serrano Center at The Wildlife Conservation Society, Uniqlo Flagship Soho, Parsons New School for Design and many award-winning projects which have earned recognition from the American Institute of Architects, New York Construction, VM+SD and The Municipal Art Society of New York and many other. R+R is also affiliated with Design Trust for Public Space, American Institute of Architects, Retail Contractors Association and the Architectural League of New York. Currently in its fourth generation of leadership, Richter+Ratner (R+R) remains focused on collaborative construction in order to realize design intent while always adapting to the individual client's requirements. Their reputation is a testament to their rich history of working with sophisticated clients and architects. For many, the relationship spans decades. The President and CEO, Marc Heiman, stated "Nancy is a great addition to this organization. Her leadership, experience and passion for the industry, coupled with Richter + Ratner's Core Values will help lead the firm into the second century of quality construction."
