E-J Electric celebrates 10th Annual HV Bike Ride

Purchase, NY E-J Electric Installation Co. was proud to show its support for the Jewish Board of Family and Children’s Services by participating in their 10th Annual Hudson Valley Bike Ride, which was founded by E-J Electric’s president Tony Mann. The event took place on Sunday, September 30th at Purchase College.

In celebration of E-J Electric’s 120th anniversary, 129 employees participated in the race, allowing them to have the top team participation in the event. Other real estate and construction firms with team representation included: Turner Construction Co., AECOM Tishman, Alliant, Skanska, Power Resources International, Judlau Contracting Inc, Calvert Wire & Cable, Brookfield Properties, Von Rohr and Benfield Electric Supply.

This year, a record of over $700,000 was raised by a total of 370 riders on their mission to support children’s mental health. In addition, The Hudson Valley Bike Ride celebrated raising $5.8 million over the past 10 years. In honor of this milestone, the Jewish Board decided to reveal the new official name for the event beginning in September 2019: Cycle of Support: Ride for Children’s Mental Health. This new name brings heightened awareness to the cause as the event continues to rapidly expand.

“The tenth year of this ride got us thinking about what the next ten years should look like,” said Mann, who is also a trustee of the Jewish Board of Family. “How can we do an even better job of talking about the impact that the ride has or about the people that it helps? How can we raise even more funds to help New Yorkers in need? We decided that the 10th anniversary was the perfect time to rename and rebrand the Hudson Valley Bike Ride. We wanted a name that better aligned with our mission.”

“It is incredible to see how this event has transformed over the years,” said David Rivel, CEO of The Jewish Board. “It was great to celebrate the 10th anniversary in conjunction with E-J Electric’s 120th anniversary. We were honored to host over 100 E-J Electric employees at this year’s race. We are truly grateful for the high participation at this year’s event.”

The death of the generic offering memorandum: What buyers expect in 2025 - by Kimberly Zar Bloorian

There was a time when an offering memorandum (OM) was pretty bare bones, some photos, a few bullet points on income, and a rent roll thrown in at the back. That used to get the job done. Not anymore. In 2025, buyers are sharper, faster, and more selective. They’re looking

Tri-state capital migrates nationally amid regulation pressure - by Reese Weaver

New York tri-state multifamily investors are increasingly reallocating capital to less-regulated markets across the U.S. as rent control and legislative risk erode returns at home.
