Durst Organization launches 600,000 s/f of headquarter space at 114 West 47th St.

Manhattan, NY The Durst Organization introduced the availability of up to 600,000 s/f at 114 West 47th St., one the largest available block of Class A space in Midtown. Built by The Durst Organization, the 26-story tower off Sixth Ave. offers a headquarters-quality asset for large enterprises, including the opportunity for a single tenant to occupy the entire building.

Durst is collaborating with global architectural designers HOK on a modern, entirely reimagined lobby and amenity space – the latest investment in the Sixth Ave. office district. A new canopy will elevate the building’s presence and offer naming rights for a large block user.

“114 West 47th St. presents a rare moment for visionary companies to position themselves in prime Midtown with a renovated, world-class work environment,” said Jody Durst, president of The Durst Organization.

“This is an opportunity for scale in a Class A building right off Sixth Avenue. For companies looking for a new headquarters in Midtown, 114 West 47th St. offers an ideal location combined with the quality, sustainability, and stewardship that The Durst Organization is known for,” said Mary Ann Tighe, CEO of CBRE’s New York Tri-State Region.

114 West 47th St. features:

Rare Scale: 600,000 s/f across 26 stories in one of the most transit-rich areas of the city. The building offers floor plates between 18,000 and 32,000 s/f.

New lobby and amenity space: The new lobby will feature gray granite floors and concave paneled white oak walls, creating a serene oasis for tenants and their guests. The lobby extends into a tenant lounge and conferencing center, with space for meetings, events, morning coffees, and after-work cocktails.

Light and Views: The building was designed for ample natural light and views with ceiling heights between 12 and 14 ft.

Private Terraces: Seven private terraces create an indoor-outdoor office experience, enhancing the workday.

New Elevators and Chillers: Durst is installing brand new elevators, new chillers, and other building system upgrades.

LEED Gold: A leader in sustainability, 114 West 47th St. is certified LEED Gold.

Leasing at 114 West 47th St. is led by Durst’s Tom Bow, Eric Engelhardt, Rocco Romeo, and Nora Caliban with CBRE’s Mary Ann Tighe, Evan Haskell, Charles Laginestra, Caroline Merck, and Natalie Chung.
