What are your predictions for commercial real estate in the new decade?
First, you have to be an optimist that New York City will continue to attract the best and the brightest people who want to live and conduct business here.
Second, you have to use history as your guide. Cycles are healthy. We survived the recessions of the 70's and early 90's. Banks will hire once again, tourism will remain stronger than ever and great office buildings will get built. New Yorkers are resilient and Manhattan Real Estate will be stronger than ever in the coming decade.
