Daughters of real estate dynasties talk shop at NYCREW; Earls, Rose, and Rossi to join moderator Consolo

Goodstein, Rose, Rudin -- all legendary and prominent families in the New York real estate world. The women at the forefront of these noted dynasties will offer their views on their projects, their families and the industry at the next NYCREW Industry Spotlight: The Women Leading New York's Real Estate Families, to be held Thursday, October 3rd from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the McGraw-Hill Executive Dining Room, 50th Floor, 1221 Avenue of the Americas, New York, NY. Samantha Rudin Earls, Vice President of Rudin Management Company, Amy Rose, Co-President of Rose Associates, and Shari Goodstein Rossi, Executive Director and Partner of Goodstein Organization LLC, will join moderator Faith Hope Consolo, Chairman of Douglas Elliman's Retail Group, in a discussion of the state of the industry, and how they are evolving their companies to deal with current challenges and opportunities. "Over the years, I've been privileged to moderate a number of panels that include the 'next generation' of our industry, and this lineup is one of the most impressive I've ever seen! These women not only are leaders in their families and companies but also in their communities through their exciting new projects," says Ms. Consolo."I'm thrilled to bring them together to discuss how they are building upon their family legacy to create the New York of today and tomorrow." Ms. Earls started working at Rudin Management Company in July of 2007. She was involved in the development of 130 West 12th, a 43-unit luxury condominium, which sold out in 8 months. She is also actively involved in the Saint Vincent Hospital's redevelopment project in the West Village -- The Greenwich Lane. Her retail deals include Le Relais Venise L'Entrecote (a steak-frites restaurant at 590 Lexington Avenue) and Organic Avenue at 649 Lexington Avenue. Rose has 23 years of real estate experience. As co-president, she has been instrumental in growing Rose's leasing, sales and management portfolio. Rose Associates currently has $2 billion under development, with Ms. Rose overseeing development of a new 181-unit luxury tower at 227 West 77th Street on behalf of Friedland Properties. She is also overseeing a joint development with O'Connor Capital for a 188-unit rental property in Long Island City. A Chartered Market Technician (CMT), Rossi served as a broker, manager and developer for Goodstein Equities and various family-related LLCs from 1995 through August of this year. Her roles included budget analysis and financial reports, forecasting operating costs for scheduled project, identifying and investigating variances to financial plans, and developing strategic plans for group assets. "This is a spectacular group of professionals, with backgrounds in sales, leasing, development and financial analysis," said NYCREW president Shari Linnick, a Vice President at Trepp LLC. "I'm looking forward to their unique insights on what's happening in our industry and how they manage their firms in terms of working in a family business."
