Flushing, NY Crystal Window & Door Systems will be the exclusive featured fenestration supplier for the second season of “Home Free,” the FOX Network home building TV show where contestants compete to win the best built quality home for their personal heroes and $100,000 for themselves.

“Home Free” is hosted by TV celebrity professional contractor Mike Holmes and former NFL player, Heisman Trophy winner, and sports analyst Tim Tebow, who challenge and encourage the contestants each week.  “Home Free” premiered June 16 on FOX and new episodes will air Thursday at 9 p.m. (ET).  Crystal’s vinyl window products are highlighted in the new homes during the sixth episode of this season of “Home Free,” airing Thursday, July 21.

In the second season, 11 contestants are part of the home building team constructing new houses on an entire new block – Home Free Blvd.– for a chance to win a dream home for the hero in their lives.

Working with professional contractors, the contestants are judged on their skills and efforts, and face elimination if they don’t measure up.

“We are honored to be the exclusive fenestration supplier for this national prime time home improvement show, HOME FREE on FOX,” said Steve Chen, COO for Crystal.  “Homeowners across 40 states have come to know the value that Crystal vinyl and aluminum windows offer, and it is rewarding to be part of the truly touching stories each of the contestants on the show brings this season.”

Crystal supplied nearly 250 new Series 400 double-hung, 410 picture and 235 casement vinyl windows and Series 1500 vinyl sliding patio doors for the new homes in the Atlanta, GA area.  The Crystal vinyl windows feature strong energy efficient multi-chamber frames and sashes, dual pane insulated glass and integral or added nailing fins and J-channel siding receptors.

All windows used PPG Solarban 70 low-E glass and Argon filled IGUs for enhanced thermal performance.  Some window units were supplied with an optional exterior paint finish, providing a two-tone interior/exterior scheme – custom exterior color and standard extruded white or beige interior color.
