CREW New York part of Operation Backpack

CREW New York is once again teaming up with Volunteers of America for their annual Operation Backpack initiative. Thousands of children who live with their families in the New York City homeless shelter system return to school each September without the school supplies they desperately need to succeed. One of the most devastating consequences of childhood homeless is the impact it has on education and opportunity. CREW New York has set a goal to donate 50 backpacks with the required supplies for 9th through 12th grade children. The supply list for each backpack is provided below. Consider contributing the required supplies for these backpacks. Bring donated supplies to any one of CREW's Breakfast Series events on July 14 or August 12 for collection by CREW volunteers. If you or your firm has an interest in providing far more than you can personally carry to a meeting, please let us know and we will make other arrangements. If you are not attending and would like to donate supplies, please contact a committee member listed below. ï‚· You can purchase one or two items in full quantity needed for the 50 backpacks in bulk online. ï‚· Cost share/share donations with another member! Some of the items are more expensive. People could team up in groups of two or three to share the cost. ï‚· Donate single items, all "single" donations are welcome and nothing will go unused. They can be brought to any Breakfast Series Events. ï‚· All items can be shipped to the following location: Attn: Beth Zafonte / CREW Operation Backpack Akerman LLP / 666 Fifth Ave, 20th floor, New York, NY 10103 / (212) 822-2266 ï‚· Financial donations to be used to purchase supplies are also welcome. Make checks payable to Volunteers of America - Greater New York and put "Operation Backpack 2015" in the memo. Please send all monetary donations to Kim Pinkerton, Creative Office Pavilion 180 Madison Ave., 20th floor, New York, NY 10016

The death of the generic offering memorandum: What buyers expect in 2025 - by Kimberly Zar Bloorian

There was a time when an offering memorandum (OM) was pretty bare bones, some photos, a few bullet points on income, and a rent roll thrown in at the back. That used to get the job done. Not anymore. In 2025, buyers are sharper, faster, and more selective. They’re looking
