County executive Latimer discusses his administrations plans at Greiner-Maltz event

Rye Brook, NY Newly elected county executive George Latimer spoke at a Greiner-Maltz Realty Advisors’ sponsored event, where he shared his administration’s plans to grow the local economy.

The event’s line-up began with introductions from Robert Weisz, founder of RPW Group. Weisz, speaking from the auditorium of his building and home of Greiner-Maltz, at 800 Westchester Ave., discussed the role that vision and creativity play in repurposing old buildings in response to the changing economic landscape in Westchester County and beyond.  In addition to Weisz, John Ravitz, VP and COO of the Business Council of Westchester, addressed the crowd regarding his organization’s involvement in helping shape sensible legislation and regulations affecting the Westchester business community.

Latimer assured the attendees that he is very familiar with, and sensitive to, the challenges facing business leaders as he himself was a corporate executive before turning to elected office. Speaking extemporaneously and eloquently, Latimer reassured the audience that he is a pragmatist and not an ideologue as it relates to identifying and implementing solutions that will attract businesses and development projects to the county.

“This event is a manifestation of Greiner-Maltz’ continuing commitment to provide value-added services to the stakeholders and market participants of the real estate industry,” stated Ayall Schanzer, president and CEO of Greiner-Maltz Realty Advisors.
