Corte Madera celebrates grand opening of Aimco's Preserve at Marin

Town leaders, business representatives and project partners joined Apartment Investment and Management Company (Aimco) to formally open the Preserve at Marin, a new addition to Marin County's real estate market. Corte Madera mayor Carla Condon, chamber president Stan Hoffman, and town manager Dave Bracken join Aimco chief investment officer John Bezzant and Aimco team members to officially cut the ribbon at the grand opening of Preserve at Marin. Preserve at Marin offers apartment home living for working professionals and families with sweeping views of the bay and Mt. Tamalpais. The community includes 126 apartment homes, five penthouse apartments with rooftop decks, a fitness center, and landscaping with unmatched location that is ideal for commuting to San Francisco and other points in the Bay Area. The community is part of one of California's top school districts. Corte Madera Mayor Carla Condon and Chamber of Commerce President Stan Hoffman congratulated Aimco on the complete transformation of the property. "They say good things come to those who wait, but, in this case, that is a colossal understatement," said Mayor Condon. "The transformation is absolutely incredible and we're so proud to welcome The Preserve to our Corte Madera community." "We are very excited to share this special day with our partners in the Corte Madera community, and to unveil a new and outstanding addition to Marin County's luxury apartment living options," said Aimco executive vice president and chief investment officer John Bezzant. "Preserve at Marin is a wonderful addition to our expanding portfolio in the Bay area. Our new residents will be impressed by the tremendous amenities, proximity to outstanding open space and shopping, and the convenience of being close to job centers, all within the highly regarded Reed Union School District." The renovation of Preserve at Marin included the exterior and interior rehabilitation of seven existing buildings, and the redesign of all apartment units to feature large bay windows, modern kitchens, and upscale finishes. The new resident "lifestyle lounge" offers social gathering areas including a zero edge pool, wine bar, and outdoor fire pits as well as a state-of-the-art fitness center featuring TechnoGym equipment. Preserve at Marin is in an ideal location, terraced along the side of Ring Mountain, with spectacular views and access to 380 acres of hiking and cycling. The property is ideally situated in Central Marin County providing easy access to the Larkspur Landing Ferry Terminal and other points in the Bay Area. Some of the region's best shopping can be found just minutes away at the Corte Madera Town Center and the Village at Corte Madera which offer residents the best in dining and retail. Aimco is one of the country's largest owners and operators of apartments, with 204 communities in 23 states and the District of Columbia. Aimco common shares are traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol AIV and are included in the S&P 500.
