Consolo, Aquino of Pru. Douglas Elliman bring Variazioni to Mulberry St.

The leasing team of Faith Hope Consolo, chairman, and Joseph Aquino, executive vice president, of Prudential Douglas Elliman's Retail Leasing and Sales Division, exclusively represented the tenant in bringing Variazioni to retail space at 214 Mulberry St., between Spring and Prince Sts. Consolo and Aquino will continue to represent the label throughout its planned national expansion, including up to 12 additional stores. Variazioni's newest store will open in 1,000 s/f on two levels. Arthur Maglio joined Consolo and Aquino in the agency assignment. Joshua Halegua represented the landlord, Jonis Realty Management, in-house. Consolo and Aquino have also been named exclusive agent for retail space at 675 Sixth Ave., which takes up the entire block from 21st to 22nd Sts. and is currently occupied by a national bookstore. The 41,700 s/f space is comprised of a 35,000 s/f ground floor selling level, a 4,000 s/f mezzanine and 2,700 s/f of basement support space. The building also boasts 200 ft. of frontage along Sixth Ave.

2024 Year in Review: William O’Brien, M.C. O’Brien, Inc.

What noteworthy transactions or deals from this year best exemplified key market trends or shifts? I would like to say there was an outstanding transaction for me this past year but 2024 was more a culmination of long-term relationships, most of which continued to transact. Deals were smaller in many cases but we saw robust leasing both on the agency side as well as on the tenant side.
