Consolo, Aquino, and Maglio of Douglas Elliman's Retail Group secure lease for Fifth Avenue Social Adult Day Care

The leasing team of Faith Hope Consolo, Chairman, and Joseph Aquino, executive vice president, along with Arthur Maglio, of Douglas Elliman's Retail Group is bringing Fifth Avenue Social Adult Day Care to 1325 Fifth Avenue, between 111th and 112th Streets. The first of its kind in the city, it is part of a national trend of Social Adult Day Services (SADS) centers offering comprehensive programs to seniors, including those who are functionally impaired. "With the country's aging demographic, adult day care is a greatly needed service and we are delighted to be able to introduce it in Manhattan," said Consolo. "Unlike many of the others, this particular model has an active social line up, with exercise classes, game room with pool table, hair salon, TV room, kitchen and even Internet café and library." Maglio said, "We have worked with several social services providers in Harlem over the past few years, where our track record is especially strong with non-profit and institutional organizations. We believe that Fifth Avenue Social Adult Day Care is at the forefront of a major trend in the city that will benefit countless seniors, their loved ones and caregivers." Among many of the other community-based and government groups that the Douglas Elliman Retail Group team has brought to Harlem in the past few years are the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Internal Revenue Service, Children's Aid Society, Ralph Lauren Center for Cancer Care and Prevention, Friends of the Children, AIDS Services Center NYC, Sunshine Day Care and Pono Learning. Consolo, Aquino and Maglio represented both the landlord and tenant in the transaction.
