Consolo, Aquino and Maglio arrange 2,000 s/f for Wholesome Foods

The leasing and sales team of Faith Hope Consolo, chairman and Joseph Aquino, executive VP, along with Arthur Maglio, of Prudential Douglas Elliman's Retail Group, has arranged a second location for Wholesome Foods at 9 Central Park North, between Fifth and Lenox Aves. The new uptown space, which is expected to open in the spring will contain a similar product line and Internet café in the 2,000 s/f ground-level space. Consolo, Aquino and Maglio exclusively represented the landlord and the tenant. "This is a business that is destined to be an asset to the neighborhood," said Consolo. "Wholesome Foods already has a strong following, so they understand their audience and are able to discern the appropriate products, hours of operation and services needed." Maglio said, "It was definitely a 'feel good' deal because we were able to bring healthful fare to the community, with a welcome Internet café directly across from Central Park for great views and picnics, too."
