Consolidated Carpet held their second annual NeoCant Showcase at their Carlstadt facility. The International Interior Design Association (IIDA)-sponsored event, NeoCant featured a product showcase, two Continuing Education Courses (CEU), dinner and door prize giveaways. With 70 industry-leading vendors showcasing their products in Consolidated Carpet's 100,000 s/f warehouse facility, the evening celebrated various commercial industries including furniture, textiles, flooring, lighting, design, and wall covering. Consolidated Carpet president and CEO David Meberg thanked those in attendance for their support and participation. "We moved into this beautiful facility in 2008 and that marked our commitment to this marketplace," Meberg said. "With the addition of our solar panel system and investments in our New Jersey team, we hope that this proves that we are here to stay." Several hundred attendees toured the exhibitions on the warehouse floor, while also networking and participating in AIA- and IDCEC-approved CEUs. The CEUs, Teknion's "Exploring Wood Veneer" and CarpetCycle's "Innovations in Carpet Recycling" were a draw for those looking to expand their knowledge of commercial interiors. The event also included a premium door prize giveaway with gift baskets, a television, butcher block table, ottoman and luggage.
