Condren and Altschul of CPEX reps landlord in 2,000 s/f retail lease

The CPEX retail leasing team of Ryan Condren and Eric Altschul has arranged a lease, for RadioShack at 1357 Broadway in the Bushwick neighborhood. RadioShack leased 2,000 s/f on the ground floor. CPEX represented the landlord, while the tenant was represented by Barry Rothenberg at Olympia Court. This transaction represents a continuing trend of national retailers exploring new submarkets within N.Y.C. that had not been considered in the past. A recent report from the Center for an Urban Future study cited a 35% increase in the presence of national retailers in the Bushwick market compared to just a 2% increase throughout N.Y.C.
