Manhattan, NY Dutch-based firm Concrete unveiled a 30,000 s/f collection of indoor/outdoor amenities at The West Residence Club at 547 West 47th St., a transformative, move-in-ready condominium building in Hell’s Kitchen.

Marking their first NYC residential project, Concrete designed the building inside and out. They’re responsible for the exterior architecture, residential interiors (219 studio to two-bedroom residences) and the communal spaces, which span multiple levels of the 12-story building and pay homage to the project’s overall design while offering a contemporary approach.

Concrete’s amenities at The West Residence Club offer a communal atmosphere from the second you walk into the building, catering to those seeking a social and all-encompassing lifestyle with hotel-like services and amenities available under one roof. The Glasshouse, a freestanding glass-enclosed library with a fireplace, living room and co-working table, is located just beyond the double-height lobby lounge and concierge desk.

The solarium-like space is intended for residents to go to socialize, get out of the daily grind and take a moment to escape without having to leave the building. The Glasshouse’s location at the center of the building overlooking a serene interior courtyard allows natural light to pour in and creates a bright, airy and energetic environment that makes residents feel as if they’re outdoors.

The rooftop features a swimming pool and lounge area overlooking the Hudson River and city skyline, outdoor kitchens/dining and private cabanas. Inside, a double-height fitness center with a yoga studio and outdoor fitness terrace is curated by The Wright Fit, creating a meaningful and encouraging space for personal fitness. Throughout the building, residents will find tons of everyday conveniences, such as a pet spa and dog run managed by Throw Me a Bone, an adorable indoor/outdoor children’s playroom, a chef’s kitchen and private dining room, a co-working space and conference room, a bike repair shop, two rentable hotel suites for guests, a large mailroom with a gift-wrapping station, multiple green spaces and storage for every home.
