New York, NY Community Housing Improvement Program (CHIP) – a housing policy advocacy organization which represents more than 3,500 NYC multifamily building owners and 350,000 units of housing throughout the five boroughs – has added four new members to its board of directors, a group which spans all spectrums of N.Y.’s multifamily housing industry.
The organization, celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, has advanced policies and solutions to ensure that housing topics remain in the forefront of public concerns both at the citywide and statewide levels.
“We are so proud and honored that this impressive group of people – which includes both industry titans and the next generation of leaders – have decided to lend their voices and their experience to this already active and engaged board,” said Matthew Engel, President of CHIP. “Their proven track records of success and institutional knowledge will put CHIP in an even better position to accomplish our ambitious housing policy agenda as we enter the second half-century of advocacy.”
