Commercial and Industrial Brokers Society of Long Island (CIBS) presents “Meet the Candidates” on Sept. 13

Melville, NY On Wednesday, September 13th, the Commercial and Industrial Brokers Society of Long Island (CIBS) will host a “Meet the Candidates” breakfast, featuring candidates for Suffolk County executive Republican Hon. Ed Romaine and Democrat Dave Calone. The event, at 68 South Service Rd., will offer one-on-one conversations with CIBS co-president David Pennetta of Cushman & Wakefield, focusing on critical issues such as economic development, climate change, water quality, sewer and septic systems, and the pressing challenge of the looming garbage crisis. This breakfast aims to provide an opportunity for in-depth discussions with the candidates about their visions and plans to address these significant matters impacting Long Island’s future.

When Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) were first part of commercial real estate risk management, it was the lenders driving this requirement. When a borrower wanted a loan on a property, banks would utilize a list of “Approved Consultants” to order the report on both refinances and purchases.
