Cohen, Winter and Cisarik of Newmark facilitate office lease

Manhattan, NY Newmark handled a new office lease for Galileo Health of the penthouse at 166 Crosby St. The penthouse space spans 11,511 s/f on the entire 12th floor of the building and includes a private roof deck. Newmark was the sole broker on the transaction with JD Cohen and Jarad Winter and representing the landlord, Renaissance Properties, while Josh Berg represented the tenant, Galileo Health. Stephen Cisarik of Newmark’s San Francisco office also facilitated the relationship with the New York team.

“The penthouse is designed with high-end finishes making it a great new space for this innovative healthcare service provider,” said Cohen. “The oversized, glass-fronted offices, conference rooms, hardwood floors, exposed 14 ft. ceilings, and private rooftop access offers Galileo a bright, open-air environment.”

Winter said, “The penthouse also features the exposed original terra-cotta ceilings and skylights giving it excellent character–it is easily one of the most unique spaces in the market.”

Built in 1897, 166 Crosby St. is a landmarked building located at the center of the NoHo neighborhood. The property, which is 12 stories tall, has over 159,000 s/f and includes two lobby entrances, one brand new entrance on Crosby St., and one entering on Broadway. The property features dual lobby attendants, a coffee bar, bike storage for tenants, key card access and four brand new elevators. The asset offers excellent access to transit and is close to many restaurants within walking distance, including GATO, Estela and Bohemian.
