Cohen and Perfetto elected to Super Lawyers List 2010

Marshall Cohen and Louis Perfetto, founding partners of real estate law firm Cohen & Perfetto LLP, have been named by New York Super Lawyers magazine for the 4th consecutive year as top attorneys in New York for 2010. New York Super Lawyers conducts an annual competitive review of attorneys in 60 practice areas to compile the Super Lawyers list, which includes the top five percent of attorneys in the New York metropolitan area. The selections are determined through a rigorous multi-phase selection process by the publishers of Law & Politics, a division of Key Professional Media, Inc. of Minneapolis, Minn. The list was distributed as a supplement to the October 4th edition of the Sunday New York Times Magazine. Cohen and Perfetto specialize in all areas of commercial real estate law, including land use, zoning, banking law, work outs and government incentives. They are both distinguished in the industry for the handling of large-scale acquisition and commercial development deals, many of which involve complex legal issues such as the sale of air rights, 1031 exchanges and zoning issues.
