Clark and Barrett of CBRE|Buffalo complete 4,430 s/f restaurant lease; Exclusive representatives for the owner, the Guarino family

The CBRE|Buffalo team of Michael Clark and Thomas Barrett have completed a lease transaction, which will bring a new restaurant to downtown. On behalf of The Guarino family, owners of Shango Bistro and Wine Bar, CBRE|Buffalo completed a 4,430 s/f lease with Iskalo Development. Guarino's second restaurant - a fresh oyster and seafood bar/restaurant called Oshun - will be located at 5 E. Huron St., the former Howard Shoes Building. Originally constructed in 1946, it served as a restaurant called Waldorf Lunch. Howard Shoes, a prominent shoe store chain, later occupied the building. The new restaurant will be part of a downtown pocket that has seen a flurry of development in the last few years. New restaurants in the area already include Tappo, and Big Ditch Brewery. Clark, director of retail services, and Barrett, business development, were the exclusive representatives for The Guarino's. Shango Bistro and Wine Bar is located on Main Street near the University of Buffalo Campus.
