CIBS hosts "Meet the Candidates" breakfast featuring Suffolk County executive candidates Romaine and Calone

Melville, NY The Commercial and Industrial Brokers Society of Long Island (CIBS) recently hosted a "Meet the Candidates" breakfast. The discussion provided an opportunity for CIBS members and representatives of Long Island’s business community to engage with Suffolk County executive candidates, republican supervisor Ed Romaine and democrat Dave Calone, in one-on-one discussions.

“This forum allowed us to delve deep into critical topics, from economic development to environmental sustainability, shaping the future of the region,” said David Pennetta CIBS co-president, Cushman Wakefield. “Thank you to both Supervisor Ed Romaine and David Calone for agreeing to participate. CIBS is proud to facilitate these conversations, furthering our commitment to enhancing Long Island's commercial and industrial landscape."

Pennetta, who moderated the event, led a discussion focusing on crucial issues that significantly impact Long Island's future, including economic development, water quality, sewer and septic systems, and the pressing challenge of the looming garbage crisis. This breakfast event aimed to foster a deeper understanding of the candidates' visions and strategies to address these critical matters.
