Church joins 3tarchitects as landscape architect

Downtown Albany architecture and planning firm 3tarchitects welcomes the addition of landscape architect Craig Church to its progressive design and architecture firm. Church joins 3tarchitects after spending the last dozen years as a landscape architect at Stantec's Albany office, formerly Vollmer Associates. Prior to that, he worked for six years in several capacities for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at both Fort Kobbe in Panama, and at Fort Drum in New York. Church earned his bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture (BLA) from the College of Environmental Science and Forestry, State University of New York at Syracuse. He is a member of the Town of Broadalbin Planning Board, and a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects. "It's a perfect fit for me to be working for such a creative, caring, and highly regarded firm," said Church. "My sensitivity to the natural, historical and environmental issues of a site is consistent with 3t's design philosophies and approach." "Craig's strengths in planning conceptualization, site design and technical detailing, as well as his illustration and project management abilities, make him a true asset to our team," said Scott Townsend, founder and principal of 3tarchitects. "Our existing and future clients will benefit greatly from his knowledge and skill sets that incorporate land use and environmental stewardship that naturally manifest themselves into sustainable and exquisite site designs." 3tarchitects is a progressive design and architecture firm located in downtown Albany. 3t focuses on creating designs that resonate with their clients, are community focused and are sensitive to the environment as well. Their diverse portfolio showcases the team's abounding talent, sophistication, creativity, knowledge and experience of the industry. 3t is a nationally recognized award-winning architecture and design firm with a diverse array of project experience and has strong roots throughout the Capital Region and beyond.
