What was the most challenging part of working during the pandemic?
The most challenging part of working during the pandemic for our company was the limited access we had to our employees, clients and their properties. Unfortunately, the environmental consulting business is based on site visits, testing and consulting on all aspects of the environment we live, and work in. Even though much of our world was shut down the need for our services was still present. The city’s local laws and violations process continued for our clients even with the pandemic. Our first goal was to ensure the safety of our employees, clients and their residents. Establishing the first COVID-19 Operations and Maintenance Plan was the first step in assisting our clients with their safety and compliance needs. One of the keys to our success is the collaboration of having our people in the office working together and while that is not ideal in our current world, with technology and regular communication we have sustained and will continue to service our clients.
