Chang of Highcap Group sells 82-room
Comfort Inn Hotel for $14 million

Syosset, NY Highcap Group has negotiated the sale of the Comfort Inn Hotel located at 24 Oak Dr. for $14 million. Senior director, Charles Chang represented the seller and purchaser in this transaction. This is the first time the property has traded hands since it was originally developed in 1989.

The three story, 48,000 s/f hotel sits on .689 acres and offers parking. There are 82 rooms and amenities including a business center, 3,200 s/f of meeting space and a 24-hour fitness center.

Situated next to Jericho Tpke., the hotel is centrally located near Long Island’s Gold Coast in Nassau County. Close to Adelphi University, Hofstra University, Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, Westbury Theatre and the area’s largest corporate park.

Chang said, “The buyer saw a great opportunity to add this incredibly well-built hotel to his family portfolio and will continue to operate the hotel while modernizing the asset and it’s services.”
