The RPA designation, according to Greater Buffalo BOMA, serves the educational needs of both third-party property managers and corporate property managers. It covers every aspect of property management, from the basics of building design, operation and maintenance to the specialized areas of commercial property law, marketing and leasing, and asset management.
Through this program, according to BOMA, property managers learn to maximize the net income of any property, be it one building or an entire portfolio.
Heimiller, a project coordinator with CBRE|Buffalo since March 2007, is responsible for overall day-to-day coordination of building projects from project start to completion. Her primary focus is BlueCross BlueShield's 450,000 s/f headquarters in the downtown area.
The RPA designation requires three years of qualifying, documented experience in property management at a property 40,000 s/f or larger.
