New affordable rental apartments are now available in the heart of downtown White Plains with the debut of The Summit at City Center. Located at 6 City Place adjacent to Trump Tower and New York Sports Club in White Plains, the newly constructed complex includes 24 apartments with high quality features and finishes. There are ten studios, seven one-bedroom apartments and seven two-bedroom apartments. Each apartment includes walnut flooring in the foyer and kitchen, granite countertops, walnut cabinetry, GE Profile stainless steel appliances, tumbled marble kitchen backsplash, wall-to-wall carpeting in living rooms and bedrooms, walk-in closets, full size washer/dryer, garbage disposal and marble baths with Kohler fixtures. The apartments are cable ready and wired for high-speed Internet access. The Summit at City Center was developed by Cappelli under the White Plains Affordable Rental Housing Program established in 2003. The apartments are available to singles and families earning 80% of Westchester County median income. "We are pleased to be opening this important new apartment complex that is adding to the affordable rental housing stock in the City of White Plains. The Summit at City Center was specifically designed as a first-class luxury building, constructed with a high level of quality finishes and features that are typically only found in luxury condominiums," said Louis Cappelli. The Summit at City Center is conveniently located just blocks from the White Plains Metro North train station.
