Capmark Finance hires Kohan as vice president

Capmark Finance Inc. has hired Jonathan Kohan as a vice president in its New York City office. Kohan will be responsible for originating commercial real estate financing opportunities.  He will report to senior vice president Nick Cassino.
"We are very excited to have Jonathan join the Capmark Finance team," said Cassino. "He brings many years of commercial real estate experience, and we look forward to future success."
Kohan most recently worked at Wachovia Securities as a vice president in the RECM-Large Loan/Structured Finance Group, where he was responsible for originating commercial real estate asset backed debt, which included $2.29 billion in 2007.  
Prior to working at Wachovia Securities, Kohan served as a vice president at GE Capital, Bank of America, Belgravia Capital Corporation, Smith Barney Mortgage Capital and Greystone Funding Corporation.
A graduate of Syracuse University, Kohan holds a J.D. from the College of Law and a B.A.
