Brookfield Properties sextet awarded BOMA 360 designation

Six buildings from the Brookfield Properties portfolio have just been awarded the BOMA 360 designation by BOMA International: One New York Plaza, One World Financial Center, One Liberty Plaza, 300 Madison Ave., 245 Park Ave., and 1114 Avenue of the Americas. The designation was created by BOMA International, with input from BOMA/NY members, to validate and recognize office buildings that demonstrate best practices in all major areas of building management from tenant relations to energy conservation and environmental impact. Nationwide, BOMA 360 is growing in stature as a valuable marketing tool, with widespread use in California, Colorado and Texas. The Brookfield buildings mark only the second time that New York properties have won the BOMA 360 designation. Time Warner Center was named a designee last year, and several other area buildings are in the process of becoming certified. The designation is open to all buildings owned or operated by BOMA members and requires an online submission, where applications can be received every day and reviewed quarterly.
