Broadway Const. Group to develop 28-unit project with Goshow Archs., Stilman, Star Tech Eng. and MEP Eng.

Manhattan, NY Broadway Construction Group, a leading construction management firm specializing in ground-up new construction and complex repositioning, will be developing a residential project at 351 East 10th St. The proposed development entails construction of a multi-story building that will stand at eight stories.

The project site, which is 4,740 s/f, is currently on vacant land located on the north side of East 10th St. between Aves. B and C. It is also bounded by six-story brick and stucco buildings to the east and west as well as vacant land to the north. Once completed, the building will provide 28 units of residential housing in the East Village. The design team consists of Goshow Architects, Silman Structural engineers, Star Tech Engineering, and MEP Engineering, P.C.

This location is prime for residential construction, being a short walk from the First Ave. subway station and Tompkins Square Park. It is also situated near a wide variety of retail outlets such as restaurants, bars, and various shopping locations. As restrictions become less stringent and people begin returning to New York City, housing developments like these are essential.

“East Village is a neighborhood whose reputation precedes it as one of the city’s premier residential neighborhoods,” said Everard Martin, president, BCG. “It’s diverse population, bustling nightlife, and numerous retail offerings made it an incredibly desirable location, and Broadway Construction Group is proud to use its services to bring that experience to more people.”

351 East 10th St. will add to other ongoing residential projects Broadway Construction Group is currently undergoing, including 645 East 9th St. in Alphabet City. The firm’s ability to undertake these types of projects simultaneously is a direct result of its team’s commitment and variety of services. Offering services that range from pre-construction to post-construction, Broadway Construction Group has used its team’s unrivaled expertise, dedication, and experience to distinguish the firm as a leader in the construction industry since its founding in 2012.
