Briffel joins Fisher Brothers as director of leasing

New York, NY According to Fisher Brothers, a New York City-based real estate firm that has built, leases and manages more than seven million s/f of class A office space in New York and Washington, D.C., Clark Briffel has joined the firm as a director of leasing. Briffel comes to Fisher Brothers after eight years as a vice president of leasing at SL Green Realty Corp., where he worked on a portfolio encompassing more than five million s/f of office and retail space throughout the tri-state region.  In this positon, he successfully negotiated over 200 leases, totaling more than 1.3 million s/f, for a diverse roster of blue-chip tenants, including Heineken, Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, and Bank of America. “We are pleased to welcome Clark to the leasing team at Fisher Brothers.  His experience, expertise, and understanding of the market will make him an important asset as we continue to cultivate and retain the types of tenants that are drawn to our portfolio of trophy Midtown office properties, as well as Fisher Brothers’ legendary levels of service and tenant amenities,” said Marc Packman, Managing Director and Head of Leasing at Fisher Brothers. Prior to SL Green, Briffel was an associate at CB Richard Ellis, representing both tenants and landlords in the acquisition and disposition of commercial office space in Manhattan. Briffel earned his bachelor of arts degree from Rollins College.  He studied Real Estate Capital Markets and Investment Analysis at New York University Schack Institute of Real Estate and is a Certified Commercial Investment Manager.  His many professional and civic affiliations include the Young Men’s/Women’s Real Estate Association, National Association of Industrial and Office Properties, and The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp.
