Borah Goldstein founds community-based pro bono clinic with Trinity's Services and Food for the Homeless

Borah, Goldstein, Altschuler, Nahins & Goidel, P.C., recently founded a community based pro bono clinic in conjunction with Trinity's Services and Food for the Homeless (S.A.F.H.), an independent non-profit established to provide emergency food and services to the homeless and low-income residents. "The people we serve at our soup kitchen and food pantry are underrepresented in so many ways, and being able to give them a voice is something we are so thankful to be able to do," said Alex Lawrence, Trinity's administrative director. "We are very grateful to be able to offer the services of Borah Goldstein and other lawyers from the community who have pledged to volunteer, and hope that together we'll be able to help ease the burdens of many in our community." Borah Goldstein partner Darren Marks is organizing the program. The clinic will hold a monthly on-site intake and consultation sessions at S.A.F.H's Food Pantry. The volunteer lawyers will also be on call to help as otherwise needed. "Borah Goldstein has always been a community oriented law firm. To help people who are facing a challenging time in their life, and cannot afford legal counsel, is an obligation that every attorney should heed," said Bob Goldstein, managing partner at Borah Goldstein. "S.A.F.H. does a wonderful job of helping those in need and we are glad to do our part." Borah Goldstein is a full service law firm of more than 50 attorneys, with offices in Manhattan and Queens. For over 35 years, the firm has provided cutting edge legal representation to its clients in the five boroughs of New York City and surrounding counties.
