Bomzer of Sabre Real Estate represents landlord in two leases at the Shoppes at Merrick

Garden City, NY Sabre Real Estate Group LLC, a premier retail brokerage firm serving New York’s metropolitan region, has arranged two leases in the Shoppes at Merrick shopping center.

The leases are:
  • 2,500 s/f at 2057 Merrick Rd. for Sufiya’s Grill, a Persian and Mediterranean restaurant, that Is expected to open in July. Sufiya Grill has another restaurant in East Meadow.
  • 1,500 s/f at 2073 Merrick Rd. for Amazing Lash Studio, a franchised eye-lash salon operated by the franchisee of the European Wax Center in Levittown Mews, the No. 1 Long Island franchisee of that chain.
Douglas Bomzer, managing director of Sabre, represented the landlord, Flame Management, in the Sufiya and the Amazing Lash lease. Jayson Siano, managing principal of Sabre, and Jennifer Star, associate director, represented Amazing Lash. With these leases, the Shoppes at Merrick, a 15,000-square-foot strip center, is fully leased. Other tenants include ReMax, Shapers Fitness, Shushi Ko, European Wax Center, Gian Wine & Liquor and the Spine Care Club chiropractic clinic. An estimated 37,000 vehicles per day pass the stores on Merrick Road daily.
