Biggs of Cushman & Wakefield named dynamic achiever by The Network Journal

New York, NY According to Cushman & Wakefield, Apriel Biggs, managing director of change management & technology adoption, was honored in The Network Journal’s (TNJ) 2016 list of “40 Under Forty” dynamic achievers.

The Network Journal, a New York tri-state area print and online magazine, celebrated the achievements of young African-Americans in their careers as well as their commitment to their community’s development with the annual awards dinner, which took place on June 23, 2016 in Times Square.

“It is a tremendous honor to be included by TNJ in this list of outstanding professionals,” said Apriel. “This recognition provides a great platform for my fellow award recipients and I to continue to inspire others at work and in our community.”

Apriel’s primary area of focus at Cushman & Wakefield is technology adoption through global process improvements, communication and end-user learning initiatives. She’s tasked with challenging the firm’s global IT teams with thinking differently about the way Cushman & Wakefield uses and deploys technology to support the wide range of experiences and backgrounds of its 3,500 brokers and thousands of other professionals across the world.

“Since joining Cushman & Wakefield in July 2015, Apriel has been critical to the development and execution of our Global Technology Solutions (GTS) employee engagement strategy,” said Risa Fogel, Senior Managing Director of IT at Cushman & Wakefield. “Apriel is a respected, sought after leader who has perfected the ability to build and engage domestic and international teams. Her infectious energy and enthusiasm compels others to execute swiftly while crafting creative solutions to business challenges.”

The Network Journal’s award – created in 1997 to recognize young African American professionals who have greatly contributed to their industry and the advancement of their community – is designed to encourage mentorship and career development for the up-and-coming leaders by introducing them to established industry professionals.
