Barnea Bistro opens 7,600 s/f restaurant at Durst’s 114 W 47th St.

Manhattan, NY Barnea Bistro has chosen 114 W 47th St. to open a new Asian fusion restaurant. Spanning 7,602 s/f on the ground floor, Barnea Bistro has secured a 15-year lease.

“At 114 West 47th St., Barnea Bistro will bring its culinary excellence to the many workers, visitors, and residents in Midtown,” said Jody Durst, president of The Durst Organization. “The new restaurant will enrich our premier office tower providing a new dining option that aligns with the sophistication of the building.”

Barnea Bistro, under the culinary direction of chef Joshua Kessler, blends carefully chosen seasonal ingredients and flavors with attentive service and captivating design. A haven for creative and immersive dining experiences, Barnea invites patrons to indulge in a culinary environment where evolving menus intertwine with expertly crafted cocktails, curated beverages harmonize with a melodic ambiance, and delectable sounds meld with the aesthetics.

The LEED Gold certified 114 West 47th St. offers a boutique office experience. The property’s notable features include a lobby rotunda, concierge desks, turnstile security, black Laguna marble, mahogany finishes, and, in select office spaces, outdoor terraces and green roofs with views of Manhattan’s West Side. Additional amenities include a conference center and a street-level coffee bar.

Office tenants include Bank of America Private Wealth Management; Axinn, Veltrop & Harkrider; Convene; and IFM Investors among others.

The Durst Organization was represented in-house by Tom Bow, Rocco Romeo, and Nora Caliban and by Matt Ogle and Corey Zolcinski of JLL. Barnea was represented by James Famularo of Meridian Retail Leasing.
