Avison Young arranges 12,456 s/f lease for W Magazine at 1 World Trade Center

Manhattan, NY Avison Young secured a long-term lease for W Magazine at 1 World Trade Center. The company will occupy 12,456 s/f on the 46th floor for its headquarters operations.

Avison Young’s Joseph Gervino, Alexis Odgers and Jason Schwartzenberg represented W Magazine in the negotiations. The landlord, the Durst Organization, was represented internally by Karen Rose and by Newmark’s Paige Raisides.

W Magazine, which was previously operating out of a sublease, was looking to establish a long-term headquarters in a high-quality building to reflect the strength of its brand and offer a compelling environment in which to host clients and collaborators,” said Gervino. “Companies are returning to making long-term commitments to New York City and investing in permanent office environments that anchor their teams and operations.”

One World Trade Center brings together convenience, amenities, and a neighborhood that inspires innovation, productivity, and success. The 25,000 s/f Well& by Durst amenity space on the 64th floor sky lobby provides tenants with a space that invigorates, inspires, and fosters connections.

Well& by Durst features freshly prepared seasonal meals, exclusive curated events, meeting, event, and lounge spaces. Tenants at One World Trade Center include Condé Nast Publications, Wunderkind, Carta, Ameriprise, Celonis, Stagwell, Circle, and Energy Capital Partners. The 3.1 million s/f building is certified LEED Gold.
