ATCO signs 5,000 s/f lease with Eton at 381 Park Ave. South

Manhattan, NY ATCO Properties & Management has signed Eton Inc. to a 10-year and 9-month, 5,000 s/f office and showroom lease at 381 Park Ave. South in the Midtown South office district.

Founded in the Swedish village of Gånghester in 1928 by Annie Pettersson, Eton specializes in creating men’s shirts, accessories and lifestyle garments. Known for pioneering the wrinkle-free cotton shirt, their collections range from dress shirts to casual shirts, T-shirts and overshirts. Eton will relocate from 24 West 57th St. this summer and occupy part of the 12th floor at 381 Park Ave. South.

Eton further extends the 17-story building’s recent leasing momentum. In January, according to ATCO, Caudalie Inc., a French skincare company, was establishing its 14,000 s/f U.S. headquarters at the building, and in November four leasing transactions totaling 8,444 s/f with Sepp Leaf Products, Inc., Valerio Architects, PreZenDental PLLC and Breakaway Communications were announced.

Anthony Manginelli of CBRE represented the tenant and Robert Tunis, Kyle Berlinsky and Joseph Mangiacotti of Colliers represented building ownership. The asking rent was $62 per s/f.

“We are pleased to have welcomed so many new and returning tenants to 381 Park Avenue South over the past six months,” said Kate Hemmerdinger Goodman, co-president at ATCO Properties & Management. “With its classic architectural charm, location in the highly desirable Flatiron District, and the exceptional tenant service that we pride ourselves on, the building is an attractive choice for companies like Eton.”
