Assemblyman Magnarelli hosts CNY Volunteer Fair September 13 at Destiny USA

Syracuse, NY The 7th Annual CNY Volunteer Fair hosted by assemblyman William Magnarelli will be held on Tuesday, September 13 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Destiny USA on the third level of the Canyon, near Revolutions. Over 50 organizations in need of volunteers will have representatives available to answer questions and provide additional information.

“This is a great opportunity for students who need community service credit, for those wanting to learn about potential job fields, or for anyone looking to get more involved in their community,” said Magnarelli, D-Syracuse, Van Buren and Geddes.

More than 50 organizations will be present. The areas they represent vary from animal care, helping the homeless, education organizations, helping domestic violence survivors, to health care fields. Volunteer opportunities range from computer work, social media, hands on care and more.
